Legacy

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) started in 1952 in Lagos, Nigeria by late Pa Josiah Akindayomi. In 1981, Pastor Enoch A, Adeboye, a former university lecturer, became the General Overseer of the church. By the special Grace of God, the church is currently in over 185 countries of the world under the leadership of Pastor E.A Adeboye a.ka. Daddy GO. Currently, RCCG is one of the fastest growing churches in the world. The church is popularly known worldwide for the December Holy Ghost congress it holds annually. This congress attracts millions of worshippers to Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa
